TechGrit President Andrea Margida and CEO Anthony Margida
Our fundamental objective is to create entrepreneurial ecosystems that transform communities, corporations, and educational organizations. We envision and implement entrepreneurial hubs with business and educational initiatives, incubation and accelerator programs, and uniquely leveraged business programming and community engagement. We lead the effort for funding, program development, and staffing. Inspired by our core principles of leveraging existing assets, minimizing capital outlay, and utilizing local talent, we transform entities into destinations, and scattered assets into purpose and energy.
TechGrit is a specialized consultancy that works with clients in communities, corporations, and educational organizations to design, develop and implement entrepreneurial ecosystems, including business incubators and accelerators.
The woman-owned technology company based in Northeast Ohio has a track record of national acclaim. In Akron, TechGrit envisioned, developed and implemented the architecture of an entrepreneurial super-hub innovation center.
Over the course of five years, TechGrit transformed this incubator into an innovation center, resulting in the addition of 450 new jobs and more than $70M in investment.
The ecosystem was intentionally, and carefully, structured with hybrid incubation, seed acceleration, software boot camp, strategic partners, local arts, makerspace, and collaboration programming. With an exceptional sustainability plan, and over $10M in grants won, TechGrit delivered over $200,000 to its stakeholders annually after paying for operations and capital expenses of its 50+ company program in a 250,000 sq. ft. repurposed tire manufacturing plant.
“Dr. (Anthony) Margida is a committed leader who brings passion, intellectual fervor, teamwork and integrity
to his work.”
